Galas and fundraisers: selling tables
A table sold is only half the job. Someone still has to find out who's sitting there and what they're eating. On Ateneo, the buyer shares each seat's ticket, each guest fills in their own details, and you get the count for the kitchen on the date you choose.
Your floor plan, with real tables
- Round or rectangular tables at scale, a head table, and the room laid out the way your venue is.
- Sell a table whole or seat by seat, each with its own price.
- Keep sponsor tables back and assign them from the session screen.
- Guests see the actual room when they choose.
Names can wait
A buyer can pay for a table of ten today and fill it in later. An unassigned seat stays theirs: it isn't canceled or released.
- The buyer opens “Assign your seats” in their panel and shares each seat's ticket by message or email.
- Each guest opens their ticket, with no account needed, and adds their name and answers such as meal choice or dietary needs.
- The buyer sees which seats are complete and can fill in the rest themselves.
- Three days before your deadline, anyone with seats still open gets a reminder.
- On the deadline, you get the final count. Your team can still correct any seat after that.
The count, by answer
- You write the questions: meal choice as a list, dietary needs as free text, each one per seat or per reservation.
- The session screen shows how many chose each option and how many haven't answered.
- Answers are deleted automatically 30 days after the event, because dietary needs can be health data.
- Download everything as a CSV for the caterer, or print it.
The money stays yours
- No per-ticket fee. Payments go straight into your own Stripe or PayPal account, so a platform can't hold your proceeds.
- Prefer invoices or checks for corporate tables? Mark the seats as due and record them as paid when the money arrives.
- If the event is canceled, everyone who booked is told and you get a list of who to refund, with the amount and payment reference.
What it costs
- Free plan: one active event of up to 120 seats, for events you don't charge for.
- Event Pass, one payment for one event with all its sessions: up to 300 tickets €19 (about $21), up to 1,000 tickets €39 (about $44), up to 3,000 tickets €79 (about $88). Tickets here means seats × sessions.
- Pro, €179 a year (about $200): events all year in rooms of up to 1,000 seats, your own branding and your own email sender.
- Your Stripe or PayPal fee on each payment is separate, under your own contract with them.
Questions
Do guests need an account?
No. The link to their ticket is enough to add their name and answers. The buyer signs in once, to make the purchase.
What if someone drops out at the last minute?
Before the deadline, the buyer or the new guest edits that seat. After it, your team can change the name and answers from the session screen.
Can people donate more than the ticket price?
Ateneo sells seats and tables at the price you set. For donations, keep using your usual donation tool alongside it.
Who can see the answers?
Your team, and anyone holding that seat's ticket link. The form says so before a guest fills it in.
